DANGOTE SARKIN KUDI

AN OPEN LETTER TO
ALHAJI ALIKO
DANGOTE
SIR, WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN THE TECH INDUSTRY
It's not without reason that the Forbes ranked you as the wealthiest African. Your's is a sail across one of the most turbulent business atmospheres having left your indelible foot prints in an industry marked to be most risky by experts ie, the Manufacturing Industry. Your prolonged struggle starting from the seventies, is enough to single out you as a standing Enterprenuer aside from mere opportunists. To this standing Figure, I owe the inspiration that motivated me to form an idea and formute a concept with applicability within the I.T industry, specifically in the domain of the social media networking Sector.
As you are in a better position to be fully aware than my humble self, the I.T Industry produced more wealth the World over than any other Industry in the 21st century. That it's undisputably responsible for the wealth of number 1 to 5 from the ranking of the 10 richest Billionaires in the world. Also that it has a round table influence on almost all Industries. Thus, the I.T is marked as the future of Global wealth creation Industry with potentials to produce the World's No1 Trillionaire.
Now I wonder what impression can be made in this Software-ing and Crowd exploiting engagement by someone who delivered a risk prone Empire safely to shores noting the following contrasting features between the two :
1 -  INTERFACE: While Manufacturing Industry engages in high volume activity involving direct handling of materials, inventory and warehousing, processes, employee, customer and government agencies etc, the I.T Industry deals with abstract and aspects not given to stock taking relying on automated analysis in data and customer traffic management
2 - SCOPE : While manufacturers hardly deliver Goods beyond given localised Consumers, the I.T on the other hand deliver products and services on real time across all borders of the world.
3 - DIGITALIZATION : While manufacturers struggle to keep track of physical objects, the Tech sector establish control via the Screen from the comfort of his office.
4 - NATURE OF THE COMPETITION : While Manufacturers compete in delivering quality and pricing, the I.T manupulates competitions twisting concepts and innovations.
Going by the aforementioned, it's clear that opportunities are more difficult to recognize and harness in the Manufacturing Industry than in the Technology. This further explains why many fail as managers in the Manufacturing sector and end up becoming Good at Database management and as well also the reasons for failed manufacturing sector that flourished in the 70s.
